The headline counts the answers that name your brand out of all answers asked, then gives your rank among six brands. Here you are named in 312 of 625 answers, a 50% share, and rank #2.
50% here. Named means your brand appears in the answer text, with or without a link.
183 here (29%). Linked means your site is one of the cited sources. A link without a name is counted as linked only.
Your position among you and five competitors by answers naming each brand. Run 1 was #4, run 6 is #2.
270 here. These are the answers that neither name nor link you.
Choose an engine chip to re-slice the sentence and tiles for one engine, which has 125 answers. The rules behind every figure, including minimum sample sizes, are on the method page.
Each square is one AI answer, coloured by what the answer did with your brand. In the B2B example, 140 answers name and link you, 172 name you without a link, 43 link you without naming you and 270 leave you out.
The engine table under the squares gives the same four counts per engine. In the B2B example Gemini names you in 50 of 125 answers and ChatGPT in 78 of 125, so one blended number hides a 22-point gap between engines.
Rank orders you and five competitors by the answers that name each brand in each run. In the B2B example you moved from #4 in run 1 to #2 in run 6, behind Tool A.
Hover or tap the chart, or use the run buttons with the keyboard arrow keys, to see every brand's rank and answer count for that run.
Choose Perplexity in the B2B example. Tool B climbs from #4 to #1 while you slip from #1 to #2, a change the blended view hides.
A real report calls a movement only after three runs and a change of 5 points, and shows a competitor named fewer than 10 times as "fewer than 10". The method page lists every rule.
The prompt table lists each buyer question with its funnel stage and a verdict for every engine. Filter to one stage, or tick the box to see only the prompts where you are not named.
Early questions that do not name a product, such as how to track invoices.
Best-of and which-tool questions where buyers build a shortlist.
Head-to-head, pricing and where-to-buy questions close to a purchase.
Select a prompt to open a sample answer and its sources. The demo shows 15 of the 125 prompts asked on each engine. In the product, every sampled answer is kept and open to inspect for 13 months.
The sources view lists the sites AI cites in its answers, and for each one how often the answer names you or names a competitor and not you. In the B2B example Review site C is cited in 212 of 625 answers, and your own site in 183.
Competitor sites, review sites and forums show where your buyers read before they ask. A site cited often next to competitors, and never next to you, is a gap to close.
Switch the example to Ecommerce to see product prompts and cited retailers and review sites. Retailer B is cited in 238 of 625 answers and Review site C in 226.
The sources view works at site level. Cited pages and full answer text stay in the product and are not sent to AI assistants through MCP.
Every figure in this report is readable by Claude and ChatGPT through the Firemark MCP server, so you can ask for the share, the rank change or the cited sites in plain language. The MCP page lists the tools and shows example questions answered from this same demo data.
This demo tracks 125 prompts on all five engines. That fits Growth at $199 a month (200 prompts, 5 engines) or Pro at $499 a month. Lite and Starter cover three or four engines. See every plan.
The demo uses invented numbers. Start tracking to see how often AI names your brand.
